ENGINEERING

 

We start each project with a feasibility check. This includes preliminary development, material tests with regard to processing and availability as well as the first cost estimate, so we can give you clear orientation for the project from the start. Only when everything is to your complete satisfaction will we start with the final development and creation of the technical production plans.

PROTOTYPING

 

In the prototype phase, we test everything from individual materials to complete furniture assemblies or complete shop fittings, depending on what the project requires. We are convinced that only a physical check can guarantee perfect implementation afterwards. It also gives you the opportunity to put everything through its paces before the rollout.

PRODUCTION

 

Our worldwide network of close production partners enables us to guarantee a high degree of flexibility, cost awareness and the best quality. For each customer and for each project, we individually select the suitable production partner in order to achieve the best possible result. The retail experts at DFROST developed and implemented the new summer window campaign for Hugo Boss. The campaign stages the corporate design of Hugo Boss in an unusual and striking way.

The heart of the campaign is the Boss logo pattern, as well as a rotating tower consisting of the brand’s initials in the form of letters made of iridescent material that glows in rainbow colours. It not only attracts the attention of passers-by, but also conveys the cosmopolitanism and playful nature of the Boss brand.

In addition to shop windows around the world, the campaign was also implemented via in-store highlight points with large revolving stages.

For the launch of the Prefall 2022 campaign, DFROST has taken the worldwide rollout of the window campaigns.  The windows impress with B-shaped mirror presenters and a stamped HUGO BOSS pattern on the back wall. The chrome surfaces of the presenters, in which the customers see themselves as well as the presented products, transform the claim for the year 2022, “Be your own Boss”, into the campaign in a tangible way. In the overall organisation of the campaign, DFROST was responsible for prototyping, series production and logistics management.

From »B« to »S« – a subtle colour scheme sets the mood for an unmistakeable centre-stage presentation of the brand: The new pre-fall windows exemplify understated elegance on an international level.

CHOPARD
Watches & Wonders

The luxury brand Chopard is going for a glamorous vintage look all under the motto »Chopard Loves Cinema«. DFROSTs retail experts collaborated with Chopard on bringing the new concept to live, which will be presented for the first time at the most important trade fair for luxury watch industry »Watches & Wonders« in Geneva. The showcases are inspired by excellent adventure cinema and movies and are intended to visualize the creation of cinema.

DFROST created ten showcases, each staging a different collection from Chopard. All utensils were wrapped in a deep blue, reflecting Chopard’s Ci color scheme. Old film cameras and film rolls were used as highlights to emphasize the vintage cinema look and placed around the exhibits.

Timeless Greetings: For the global Christmas campaign of the Swiss luxury watch brand a modern facet pattern in traditional red was developed. In the most beautiful time of the year, golden highlights ensure a dazzling appearance at the POS and in print ads. For the Swiss luxury watch brand, a modern key visual in traditional festive red was devised that splendidly appears in print ads as well as in promotional videos.

For V-ZUG’s new trade fair appearance at Swissbau, we created extraordinary »Shopwindows« that emotionally represent the origins and roots of the brand and bring them closer to the trade fair audience. A combination of natural materials and exclusive product surfaces, artfully designed and assembled.

DFROST has been responsible for the management and implementation of the first store in Germany for the Norwegian premium outdoor brand Norrøna. The flagship store in munich and the brand itself stand for an adventure trip into nature. In this setting, the products are presented in a functional and urban way. The concept is based on the vision »Welcome to nature – Welcome to Norrøna« and thereby takes special account of the sustainability idea. This was implemented, among other things, in the form of a specially designed area for repair services to give the products an even longer life. With this, the Norwegian outdoor brand shares our stance on a more sustainable retail and relies on the concept of circular retail.

A shop-in-shop with premium character, realised for a brand that sets standards: Exquisite materials, superbly crafted, have produced the poured white floor and the black furniture. Thanks to the powerful integration of digital content, the customer is not only addressed on an emotional level but also informed.

At the #DIYDOCS activation events, the Docs community will have the exclusive opportunity to individualise their shoes. A team of hotfoil artists has created unique personalisations here at the Breuninger Düsseldorf. The workspace created for this purpose is handy and at the same time generates a great brand presence, even in the most confined spaces. In terms of sustainable action, the set-up can be used many times in the future as all seasonal, recyclable elements can be replaced, thus, enabling the workshop to present further appearances again and again.

An exclusive pop-up presentation in the shoe department of Breuninger Stuttgart was developed and executed for Dr. Martens’ »Tough As You« campaign. To go with the campaign, the focus was on playing with rough elements which is why various materials were used for the surfaces, successfully combining the sophisticated store environment with pop-up elements. Eye-catching campaign assets were also brought into play, including printed material as well as the brand’s powerful »Tough As You« video as a digital component. The use of Dr. Martens’ striking CI colours ensure an arresting presentation of the shoes. Thanks to the flexible elements, the pop-up will be ready to be used again at other locations.

With the new store concept for GLAMBOU, DFROST creates an iconic set-up for the POS that perfectly conveys the brand’s identity – feminine and modern like the jewelry itself. Modular elements allow for an uncomplicated response to different spatial conditions and ensure a consistent brand statement with great recognition value. Exclusive staging brings the carefully curated range to life and takes customers on a journey of discovery.

DFROST Retail Identity has developed a window campaign for the autumn/winter season for luxury jeweller Gübelin. Inspired by »A Journey Through Time«, it features a segmented timepiece. The campaign culminates with the rich blue of tanzanite, symbolising clarity and possibilities for the year ahead.

The window campaign is »deeply inspired« by the inner worlds of a Gübelin gemstone and in combination with the free-standing elements and the blue back wall, this creates a poetic, immersive and clear design language.

The new window system was specially designed for Breitling and combines the two key aspects of Look and Usability in a single system. The technically sophisticated concept enables the easy use of illumination and special effects inside the display cabinet, providing scope for the full spectrum of modern visual merchandising.

Offering maximum flexibility for diverse set-up variations, the modular box system that was specially developed for the watch brand is central to Luminox’s trade show appearance. The main player at the stand is an integrated Lift & Learn feature that provides customers with digital product information, tells them the story, and rounds off the customer journey.
